Pick up / Drop off at airport
Pick up/drop off at Brisbane airport is free for any hire over five days length. The only costs that the customer will occur if the drop off/pick up has been specified to us at the time of booking, are any parking fees and the tolls in and out of the airport.

After collecting your bags proceed out to the front of the terminal and cross the road to the public pick up area for your designated flight carrier ie virgin, jetstar etc. And wait for a Driveabout camper or vehicle with drive about sign-age to meet you there. Make sure you are in the public area for your flight carrier not bus area. You will be transported a short distance to The shell fuel service centre to finalise your paper work.

After you clear customs proceed outside front doors and wait at the kerb in the public pick up area where a Driveabout camper or vehicle with Driveabout sign-age will meet you there .you will be transfered a short distance to the shell service centre to finalise the paper work. Special conditions for airport pickup. All pickups will be approximately 40mins after your flights listed touchdown and late arrivals will incur a fee regardless of fault if the flight is delayed for any reason.
Where possible please advise us if your flight is late before you depart. The fee will be charged at the managers discretion. Driveabout campers will not be held responsible for a delayed pickup on our part where access to an airports major roads and peak hour traffic delays our pickup or any circumstance prohibits our arrival time. All parking costs and toll costs into and out of airports are charged to the renter. Cairns depot Cairns is a serviced non depot location. Please Note
Cairns is a non-serviced depot location. Pickup and return of campervan are via delivery direct to and from Cairns airport or pre-arranged hotel or hostel within Cairns central location. For all gold coast pickups you will be transported to our office or we will move to the airport fuel service centre at the front of the airport to finalise the paper work .

Transfers
Direct airport pick up and returns at Melbourne airports are available with hire 5 days or more.

When exiting the terminal building outside the doors just turn left and walk about 5 min to the bp fuel and macdonalds service centre and you will be met by a driveabout representative with your campervan. Sydney depot Sydney is a serviced non depot location. Please note:
Pickup location for flight inbound clients to Sydney international or
domestic airport.
We will arrange and instruct the pickup with the client upon arrival at the airport. Clients already in Sydney will have to make their own way to the depot.
The client will have to return to the airport via their owns means. |
